The PDEwiki was created by James Colliander on 12 September 2006. The first goal is to provide a web resource for students studying basic partial differential equations in APM 346, a course in the mathematics department at the University of Toronto.
The structure and idea of the PDEwiki is based heavily upon the DispersiveWiki.
Users who post content unrelated to the purpose of the PDEwiki will be banned by the WikiSysop.
